They can be connected to overhead lines and are extremely reliable for use in varied applications.<br \/><br \/><strong>Construction<\/strong><br \/>The PCVCB is always supplied with basic structure for mounting at the site. The breaker can be installed on a plinth of adequate height to meet the statutory requirement of clearance of high tension (HT) live parts from the ground level. This requirement can also be achieved by providing base frames as an option. The outdoor PCVCB is of open terminal type construction, with a vacuum interrupter housed in weather-proof porcelain. Manual \/ motor operating spiring charging facility and shunt trip features are available in weather-proof enclosures to IP55 degree of protection.<br \/>Control and relay panel suitable for indoor\/ outdoor application. Outdoor CTs and Outdoor PTs mounted on integral breaker pedestal are available as optional
